Bad weather conditions are expected today in the Eastern Cuba due to the approach of the ferocius Hurricane Matthew. Spells of intense rain, strong winds and sea surge will start hitting the area from early in the morning and it will get worse as the day progresses. The rest of the country will see a different situation with mostly sunny skies and just the odd showers. Daytime temperatures will be around 30-33 Celsius (86-91 F) dropping to 26 deg Celsius (72 F) overnight.
Rough sea is expected in the rest of the archipelago, as well, apart from the Western coasts where the sea will remain calm.
