Bad weather associated with departed Huracan Matthew will affect most of Cuba with cloudy skies, showers and rain. The rain could become heavy and prolonged at times in the afternoon, especially in areas of central and western regions. Temperatures will remain high, with maximum around 30-33 Celsius (86-91 F) and lows of 23-26 Celsius (66-72 F) overnight.
The storm surge will continue pounding the North coast producing light flooding in areas of the central northern keys (Jardines del Rey archipelago). There will be dangerous waves in southern strip between Punta de Maaisi and Cabo Cruz too, while in the rest of the South coast the sea will remain calm. The winds will be light to moderate.
